Introduction
1. Background and significance of standard formulation
GB/T 37591-2019 standard specifies the terms and definitions, symbols and grades, general requirements, technical requirements, inspection and testing, re-inspection and determination, packaging, marking and quality certificates for cold-rolled non-oriented electrical steel strips for large motors of 700MW and above. This standard was proposed by the China Iron and Steel Association and is applicable to the manufacture of full-process cold-rolled non-oriented electrical steel strips for large hydro-generators of 700~MW and above.
