Introduction
1. Background and significance of the standard
GB/T 37637-2019 "Performance Requirements for LED Floodlights" is my country's first national standard specifically for LED floodlights, aiming to standardize the technical indicators and quality requirements of LED floodlights on the market. The standard was proposed by the China Light Industry Federation and managed by the National Technical Committee for Standardization of Lighting Appliances, ensuring its authority and applicability.

3. Interpretation of technical requirements and application cases
(1) Marking requirements
According to Section 7.1 of the standard, luminaires must clearly indicate the rated input power and maximum rated input power (dynamic dimming and color changing luminaires). For example, a certain LED floodlight should be marked with 'Rated power: 50W, maximum power: 75W' in a prominent position on the housing.
(2) Light output performance
Luminous flux initial value requirements: Not less than 90% of the rated luminous flux. For example, if the rated luminous flux of a luminaire is 2000lm, the actual measured value should not be less than 1800lm.
（3）Angle positioning and protection level
Lighting used outdoors must meet the IP65 protection level and pass the salt spray corrosion test. Case: LED floodlights used in a port must meet IP65 to withstand harsh climate environments.
4. Implementation advice
- Manufacturer: Ensure that the product meets all technical indicators in the standard. It is recommended to conduct third-party testing and certification.
- Purchaser: Choose certified products and require detailed technical test reports.
- Testing agency: Establish a complete testing system and carry out inspection work in strict accordance with the standards.
