《GB/T 37757-2019电子电气产品用材料和零部件中挥发性有机物释放速率的测定 释放测试舱-气相色谱质谱法》由TC297(全国电工电子产品与系统的环境标准化技术委员会)归口,TC297SC3(全国电工电子产品与系统的环境标准化技术委员会有害物质检测方法分会)执行,主管部门为国家标准化管理委员会。
Introduction
1. Background and significance of the standard
GB/T 37757-2019 is to standardize the determination method of volatile organic compound (VOC) release rate of materials and components in electronic and electrical products to ensure product quality and environmental protection requirements. This standard is proposed by the National Technical Committee for Environmental Standardization of Electrical and Electronic Products and Systems and is managed by it.
2. Overview of the core content of the standard
This standard mainly stipulates the following contents:
- Use the release test chamber with gas chromatography-mass spectrometry (GC-MS) to determine the VOC release rate.
- Clarify the technical requirements of the test chamber, including materials, airtightness, temperature and humidity control, etc.
- Specify the sampling steps and data analysis methods.
3. Standard framework comparison table
| Standard dimensions | GB/T 37757—2019 requirements | Comparison with similar international standards |
|---|---|---|
| Test method | Release test chamber-gas chromatography-mass spectrometry | Consistent with international standards (such as ISO 16000 series) |
| Technical parameters | The volume of the test chamber is $(1±0.05)m^3$, and the temperature and humidity control accuracy is high | International standards generally have higher requirements, and some indicators are more stringent |
| Scope of application | Applicable to materials and parts, not applicable to complete products | Similar to the relevant requirements of the EU RoHS Directive |
4. Implementation suggestions
Implementation steps:
- Equipment preparation: Ensure that the release test chamber and GC-MS analyzer that meet the standard requirements are available.
- Sample processing: Take samples from normal production batches and package and transport them according to the requirements of B.2.3.
- Test environment control: Keep the laboratory temperature and humidity at $(23±5)^\circ C$, and the air pressure close to the standard atmospheric pressure.
- Data collection and analysis: Strictly follow the steps in Appendix A for sample collection and data analysis.
Notes:
- The background concentration of the test chamber must meet the requirements of Table 1, otherwise it needs to be cleared.
- The average recovery rate of toluene should be between 80% and 120% to ensure data reliability.
- The sampling volume and sampling time should be determined according to the VOC concentration of the sample to avoid overloading or underloading.
