Scope
This part of GB/T 3780 specifies the principle, reagents, instruments, samples, test procedures, test data processing, precision and test report for the determination of light transmittance of carbon black toluene extract by spectrophotometer method. This section applies to carbon black and pigment carbon black for rubber. This section does not apply to carbon black varieties with high content of toluene extractables.
