1. Background of Standard Formulation

With the continuous advancement of coal mining technology, fully mechanized coal mining and top-coal caving working faces occupy an important position in coal mine production. However, in actual operation, due to factors such as complex equipment layout, frequent movement and long power supply distance, traditional power supply methods are difficult to meet the needs of efficiency and safety. In order to solve these problems, GB/T 37814-2019 "Technical Specifications for Long-distance Power Supply System of Fully Mechanized Coal Mining and Top-coal Caving Working Face" came into being, aiming to provide coal mining enterprises with a scientific design basis for long-distance power supply systems.
