Scope
This part specifies the bibliographic items of ancient books and their order, bibliographic identifiers, bibliographic texts, bibliographic information sources, and detailed rules for bibliographic items, etc. This part is mainly used for the description of Chinese ancient books. The descriptions of ancient books in various minority languages can be used for reference. This part applies to the compilation of national bibliography and various types of catalogues. This part does not involve the organization rules of catalogs of ancient books.
