《GB/T 3792-2021信息与文献 资源描述》由TC4(全国信息与文献标准化技术委员会)归口,主管部门为国家标准化管理委员会。
Scope
This standard gives a set of general description specifications covering various types of resources, specifies the order in which data elements are recorded or transcribed, and the identification symbols used to identify and display data elements. This standard is applicable to the description of various types of resources by bibliographic institutions, including books, serial publications, integrated resources, electronic resources, images, map resources, musical scores, audio and video resources, ancient books, rubbings, manuscripts, dissertations, etc. This standard also applies to bibliographic data produced by national bibliographic agencies, library and information agencies, or other institutions. The purpose of the content form and media type items is to identify the basic form of resource content expression and the medium type used to convey the content at the beginning of the description, so as to help users identify and select resources suitable for their needs. The increasing diversity and complexity of resource content and media types, as well as the increasing diversity of users' special information needs, require more specific descriptions of content types and media types. Providing complete information on content forms and media types will facilitate resource retrieval by various users with specific needs, facilitate the exchange of bibliographic records, and facilitate interoperability with other metadata standards in an open access environment. The content form and media type item includes two elements, namely content form and media type. A content form consists of one or more terms reflecting the basic form of the resource's content expression, which may be followed by additional content qualifications indicating the type, sensory properties, maintenance, and/or presence or absence of movement of the resource being described. The media type indicates the type of media used to convey the content of the resource. 5.1.2 Prescribed Identifiers and Identifier Patterns The title and statement of responsibility items include title proper, parallel title proper, other title information and statement of responsibility. These elements are defined in the glossary, and more descriptive information appears at the beginning of each element's description clause. 6.1.2 Specify the identifier and identifier pattern The version item describes the version to which the resource belongs, which includes a version statement, a parallel version statement, a statement of responsibility related to the version, an additional version statement, and a statement of responsibility related to the additional version statement. For unpublished resources (such as: manuscripts, non-commercially distributed or broadcasted videos), descriptions about editions, rewrites, and adaptations in their works are regarded as the content of the edition item. 7.1.2 Specifying identifiers and identifier schemas Mathematical data items include scale descriptions, projection descriptions, and coordinate and bisector descriptions of map resources. 8.2. The special items of the musical score resource type include the musical score format specification and the parallel score format specification. A musical notation specification is a term or phrase denoting the physical form in which a musical resource is presented, as distinct from another form of the same work. Physical details such as the description of the appearance of the publication do not belong to the format of the score, but can be described in the form of the carrier. Notation format notes are not used for solo or roster works, and for solo works or for solo works with an accompanying instrument. 8.3.2 It is stipulated that the identifier number item shall consist of the numerical identifier and/or year identifier of the first issue or part and/or the last issue or part of the serial publication. The year of this item may be the same as the year of publication, production and distribution, or it may be different. Even if they are the same, any year should not be omitted. If the first issue or part and/or the last issue or part of a serial is not available, the relevant information can be described in a footnote. Omit if neither the first issue or part nor the last issue or part of the serial or their substitutes are available. If the description is not based on the first period or section and/or the last period or section, information on the period or section used should be described in a note. If a facsimile or other photographic reproduction is to be described, the numerical and/or chronological identification of the original serial should be described. 8.4.2 Specifying Identifiers and Identifier Schemas "Publishing, production and distribution" refers to all types of publishing, production, publication, distribution, etc. activities related to resources. This item is also used to record data about the physical fabrication of the resource. If an individual or group has publishing, production, distribution and other activities as well as physical production activities, or if it cannot be determined whether an individual or group has both publishing, production, distribution and other activities or is only responsible for physical production activities, the Functions are explained. Publication, production and distribution items include place of publication, production and/or distribution; name of publisher, producer and/or distributor; date of publication, production and/or distribution; place of printing or production; name of printing or producer; printing or date of manufacture. 63 GB/T3792-2021 For ancient books: For ancient books, the modern functions of publishers, booksellers, printers and distributors are often difficult to distinguish. Unless otherwise specified, "publishing, production and/or distribution place" and "Publisher, producer and/or distributor's name" is used to describe the location and name of the publisher, printer or distributor. For resources such as ancient books and maps: There are still revisions for resources such as ancient books and maps, that is, after the book is engraved for several years, the text and (or) appendices are added and changed, and the revision information of resources such as ancient books that have been published is reprinted . The place of revision refers to the location of the person in charge of the revision; the person in charge of the revision refers to the person in charge of the revision affairs (the name of the person in charge of the revision, the name of the room, the name of the house, etc. can be described together with the name); the year of the revision refers to the addition or modification of the book Edition completion time. According to the different revision behaviors, the revisionist can describe the revision method after the name, room name, hall name, etc. information. The main ways of revision are re-revision, addition and so on. The place of revision, revisioner, and year of revision are described after the place of publication, publisher, and year of publication, with spaces, semicolons, and spaces () in front. Example 1:.-Blocked version.-Xiu Ning Example 2:.-Blocked version.-Fenyang Shangshan Yishu, Yuan Zhizheng twenty-fourth year[1364][rebuild location unknown]Gao Zhong rebuilt, Ming Hongzhi sixth year[1493]Cao Learn from Min Jingyitang, Qing Qianlong forty-three years [1778] Fenyang Caoshugu addition, Qing Daoguang fifteen years [1835] 9.1.2 specifies the identifier and identifier pattern carrier form items include resource quantity, other physical details, size and attachments illustrate. The carrier form item is described in terms of the status at the time of publication by the resource publisher. If it is known or confirmed that the resource has been modified since publication (for example: binding 71 GB/T 3792-2021 or cropping), the information described in the form item refers to the resource at the time of publication, while the information about the modification is as relevant to the copy at hand. Relevant information processing is described in the notes (see 12.13). 10.1.2 Specifying identifiers and identifier patterns Series and multi-part single-line resources Items include the title proper of a series or multi-part single-line resource, the parallel title proper of a series or multi-part single-line resource, the title of a series or multi-part single-line resource Additional title information, statement of responsibilities associated with the series or multi-part single line resource, the International Standard Number for the series or multi-part single line resource, and the numbering within the series or multi-part single line resource. If the resource described belongs to a larger bibliographic resource—a series or a multipart single-line resource, use the series and multipart single-line resource item. The use of "common title" and "dependent title" includes the following situations: a) common title and section title; b) main series title and sub-series title; c) common title and dependent title for multi-part single-line resources. If the resource belongs to more than one larger bibliographic resource, the series and multipart single-line resource entries should contain multiple series descriptions, in the order determined by the order of precedence of the information sources for that item; The order in which the information appears. Continuity resources or multipart single-line resources can be part of a larger assembly. 11.1.2 Specifying Identifiers and Identifier Schemas Additional items contain any descriptive information not described in other items that is considered important to the user. Notes qualify and supplement other item descriptions, and can deal with any aspect of a resource, including recording the bibliographic history of the resource, expressing its relationship with other resources, etc. If another resource is to be referenced or quoted in a note, sufficient information should be given to identify that resource. Depending on the availability of resources and the context of the note, the specific approach may vary. For continuing resources, citations may consist of an identifying title and an International Standard Serial Number (ISSN). In other cases, citations may consist of a title proper and a statement of responsibility or other bibliographic details. It is impossible to list the notes exhaustively, but they can be classified according to the description items of this standard. In addition to the notes related to these description items, 91 GB/T 3792-2021 may also have some notes related to the description of resources, but they do not correspond to any specific description items. Notes and the order in which they are presented are optional unless otherwise stated. Two or more footnotes may be combined into one footnote if deemed appropriate by the resource description authority. 12.1.2 Specifies the identifier Resource identification number and acquisition method items include resource identification number, identification title, acquisition method and limited description. A resource identification number is any numeric or alphanumeric identifier used to identify a resource. Resource identification numbers include not only identification numbers assigned according to international standards (such as: ISBN, ISSN), but also identification numbers assigned by publishing and distribution institutions. The resource identification number also includes the fingerprint of the ancient book resource, the music publication number and the plate number, and the URI of the online resource, etc. 13.1.2 Specifying Identifiers and Identifier Schemas
