《GB/T 38612-2020人造革合成革试验方法 拉伸负荷及断裂伸长率的测定》由TC48(全国塑料制品标准化技术委员会)归口,主管部门为中国轻工业联合会。
Introduction
Analysis of the core content of the standard
This standard specifies the test method for the mechanical properties of artificial leather and synthetic leather under tension, focusing on the quantification of the maximum load-bearing capacity and ductility of the material during stress.
Test Method Comparison
| Method Type | Specimen Size(mm) | Clamp Distance(mm) | Applicable Scenarios |
|---|---|---|---|
| Strip Method(Method A) | 200×30 | 100±1 | Conventional Thickness Material |
| Grab Method(Method B) | 200×100 | 100±2 | High Ductility Material |
| Dumbbell Method(Method C) | 120×25(end) | 86±1 | Precision mechanical analysis |
Key technical requirements
Instrument calibration specifications
The tensile testing machine must meet the JB/T 7797 standard, and the constant elongation rate must be controlled at 200mm/min±10%. The fixture should have the following features:
- Anti-slip design (pad material is allowed)
- Center line alignment accuracy±1mm
- Clamping surface parallelism error≤0.5°
Key points for sample processing
The state adjustment needs to be carried out at 23±2℃, 50±10%RH for ≥4 hours. The wet test needs:
- Soak in distilled water for ≥1 hour
- Remove surface moisture with absorbent paper
- Complete the test within 10 minutes
Implementation suggestions
Abnormal handling plan
Retest is required when the following situations occur:
- Grip slip > 2mm
- Break within 5mm of the grip
- Break outside the extensometer gauge length
Data recording specifications
The report needs to include:
- 3 sets of valid data in each of the longitude and latitude directions
- Elongation at break calculation formula: ε=(L1-L0)/L0×100%
- Force value is accurate to 0.1N
