Introduction

Analysis of the core content of the standard

This standard has established a complete testing system for the radioactive risks of inorganic non-metallic materials (such as ceramics, cement, etc.) in furniture products. The main technical indicators include:

Key detection technology

1. Instrument configuration requirements

The standard specifies the technical parameters of two types of Y spectrometers:

  • Sodium iodide Y spectrometer: energy resolution ≤9%, background counting rate ≤8/s
  • Semiconductor Y spectrometer: energy resolution ≤2.5keV, higher stability

2. Sample processing flow

  1. Sampling ≥1kg of inorganic non-metallic materials
  2. Grind to 0.16mm particle size
  3. Dry at 105±5℃ to constant weight (weight difference ≤0.1g)
  4. Seal and let stand for 10 days to wait for radioactive equilibrium

1. Raw material control: It is recommended to establish a supplier radioactivity detection file and give priority to building materials certified by GB6566

2. Detection cycle: Different batches of inorganic non-metallic materials should be tested separately, and mixed materials should be tested separately according to their components

3. Result determination: When the test value is within the range of ±20% of the limit value, the measurement uncertainty must be evaluated
