《GB/T 39098-2020船舶与海上技术 船舶消防员装备(防护服、手套、靴子和头盔)》由TC137(全国船用机械标准化技术委员会)归口,TC137SC8(全国船用机械标准化技术委员会船舶消防分会)执行,主管部门为国家标准化管理委员会。
Introduction
Analysis of the core content of the standard
This standard is equivalent to ISO 22488:2011, which is applicable to personal protective equipment used by ship firefighters when fighting small and medium-sized fires. It clearly stipulates the following key technical requirements for protective clothing, gloves, boots and helmets:
| Equipment type | Core performance indicators | Test methods |
|---|---|---|
| Protective clothing | HTI24≥13s, afterflaming time≤2s, waterproof grade≥4 | ISO 9151/ISO 15025 |
| Fire helmet | Impact load ≤5.0kN, face shield fire resistant without holes | ISO 6487/Appendix D |
| Fire boots | RHTI24≥35s, high temperature resistance 300℃ | ISO 20344/Appendix C |
Key performance test requirements
1. Flame retardant performance
All equipment must pass ISO 15025 procedure A test: Afterflame and smoldering time are both ≤2 seconds, and no dripping is allowed The outer material of the protective clothing must still meet the requirements after 50 washes.
2. Thermal protection performance
When using the ISO 6942 radiant heat test (40kW/m²): RHTI24 of protective clothing ≥18 seconds, RHTI24 of boots ≥35 seconds. The flame conduction test (80kW/m²) requires HTI24 ≥13 seconds.
3. Structural integrity
- Tensile strength of protective clothing seams ≥20N (≥16N after 180℃ heat treatment)
- Helmet visor must pass 1.3m steel ball impact test (Appendix E)
- Boot zipper lateral load ≥370N
Special design requirements
Protective clothing
Must be equipped with retro-reflective/fluorescent material with a width of ≥50mm (Appendix A), and the overlap between the split protective clothing and the boots is ≥300mm.
Fire helmet
The cape material must meet the same thermal protection requirements as the protective clothing, with a total mass ≤1.5kg and a visor viewing angle range ≥60° (Appendix F).
Overall compatibility
The total weight of the full set of equipment (including respirator) is ≤7kg, the wearing time is ≤60 seconds, and the increase in the mobility test time is ≤1.5 times (Appendix G).
Implementation recommendations
- Prefer inherently flame-resistant materials to improve durability
- Regularly check the cracks on the boot sole (>10mm×3mm need to be replaced) and the transparency of the helmet face screen
- The arrangement of reflective materials must comply with the 360° visibility requirements of Appendix A
- The storage environment should avoid long-term direct ultraviolet rays (refer to 5.4.3 UV test)
