Introduction
Analysis of the core content of the standard
| Characteristic category | Test items | Method standard | Technical points |
|---|---|---|---|
| Basic characteristics | Melt mass flow rate | GB/T3682.1 | Test temperature 190℃, load 2.16kg |
| Tensile properties | GB/T1040 series | Injection molding specimens are used in the arbitration method | |
| Impurity content | Appendix B | Count of particles above 0.1mm | |
| Harmful elements | GB/T26125 | Detection of six restricted substances | |
| Odor level | Appendix A | 6-level evaluation system |
Key technical requirements
The standard clearly defines PE recycled materials as polyethylene materials that have been pre-treated and melt-granulated, with an ash content of ≤0.5% and a moisture content of ≤0.2%. In terms of tensile properties, the difference between recycled materials and virgin materials should be controlled within the range of ±15%.
Innovation in testing methods
Appendix B: The first thin film method for testing impurities: the sample is pressed into a 0.1-0.3mm film, and the number of impurities above 0.1mm is counted. This method can trace the raw material filtration process. If >1mm impurities are found, it means that it has not passed the 40-mesh filter.
Quality assurance system
- Raw material traceability: it is required to record the source and batch information of raw materials
- Process control: set key parameters such as melting temperature (recommended 180-220℃), pressure, etc.
- Finished product inspection: each batch needs to test at least 5 basic characteristics
Industry application suggestions
For packaging material manufacturers, it is recommended to focus on melt index and odor indicators; toy manufacturers should strengthen the detection of heavy metal migration (refer to GB6675.4). When the proportion of recycled materials exceeds 30%, all mechanical properties need to be retested.
