Key technical requirements

5.1 Design specifications

The compensation system shall include four parts: power source (hydraulic motor/variable frequency motor), energy storage unit (gas cylinder + pipeline), detection unit (MRU motion reference unit) and control device. The selection of hydraulic motor shall comply with JB/T10829 standard, and the control device shall have dual redundancy of overload protection and power failure protection.

5.5 Performance indicators

Typical working case: Under the compensation load of 2,200kN, the fast rope speed of 120-level winch shall reach 20m/s, and the matching motor power shall be ≥6,600kW. The cleanliness of the hydraulic system shall meet ISO4406 standard-/16/13, which is 2 levels higher than the ordinary industrial hydraulic system.

Standard Evolution Analysis

This standard includes electromagnetic compatibility (GB/T10250) and environmental adaptability (CB1146 series) as mandatory requirements for the first time, reflecting the stringent requirements of deep-sea operations on equipment reliability. Compared with SY/T5532-2016, the quantitative provisions for the set pressure of the accumulator safety valve (1.05-1.1 times the working pressure) are added.

Implementation suggestions

  1. Material selection: Structural parts should preferably use DH32 grade marine steel of GB/T712-2011, and the piping system should use 022Cr19Ni10 stainless steel
  2. FMEA analysis: GB/T7826 failure mode analysis must be performed on the load-bearing parts, and the stress should be controlled at 40% of the yield limit (rated working conditions)
  3. Test verification: Type inspection should include 72-hour salt spray test (CB1146.12) and -20℃ low temperature start-up test
