Introduction
Analysis of the core content of the standard
This standard systematically specifies the requirements for the entire process of heat treatment of additively manufactured metal parts for the first time, focusing on solving the technical problems of post-processing of parts formed by processes such as laser powder bed fusion and directed energy deposition.
Comparison of key technologies
| Process type | Typical materials | Differences in key parameters | Equipment requirements |
|---|---|---|---|
| PBF-LB/M | TC4 titanium alloy | Double annealing temperature700-760℃/900-970℃ | Vacuum furnace or protective atmosphere furnace |
| DED-Arc/M | 2219 aluminum alloy | Solution transfer time≤20s | Forced air cooling device |
| DED-EB/M | GH4169 high temperature alloy | Homogenization treatment 1070-1120℃ | High vacuum furnace (≤10-3Pa) |
Implementation points
Typical application case
A spacecraft TC11 titanium alloy bracket was manufactured using the PBF-LB/M process. According to Clause 6.6.2 of the standard, stress relief annealing at 530-580℃×4h was carried out within 8 hours after forming. The residual stress was reduced by 72% after detection.
Technological innovations
- The first furnace sample concept (3.1.3), requiring process verification in the same batch
- Specify special requirements for powder cleaning (6.1.1) to avoid sintering of powder in the inner cavity
- Refine the heat treatment parameters of 22 alloys (Table 2), covering the three major categories of titanium/aluminum/high-temperature alloys
Quality control requirements
Establish a heat treatment quality traceability system in accordance with GB/T32541, with key control points including:
- Furnace temperature uniformity ≤±5℃ (5.2.3)
- Vacuum furnace pressure rise rate ≤0.67Pa/h (Table 1)
- Process archives are kept for ≥5 years (Chapter 8)
