As an important basic specification in the field of additive manufacturing in my country, this standard is equivalent to the ISO 17296-4 international standard and makes localized adjustments. It mainly regulates the data processing requirements for the entire chain from 3D design to physical molding:

Key technical requirements

1. Data preprocessing specifications

  • Closedness detection: The surface model must form a completely closed volume
  • Resolution control: When exporting STL, it is recommended to set the chord height to 0.01%-0.1% of the model size
  • Normal vector verification: All triangular facets must have a unified normal direction

2. Special process treatment

Case: When an aviation component is manufactured using a SLM metal printer, the weight of the part is reduced by 42% through lightweight topology optimization. At the same time, a 0.3mm machining allowance is required on the support contact surface.

  1. Establish an enterprise-level additive manufacturing data verification checklist, including 9 mandatory inspection elements
  2. It is recommended to use the AMF format to retain material property information for key load-bearing components
  3. Reverse engineering data requires surface reconstruction verification

Compared with the 2014 version of the international standard, this standard adds data compatibility requirements for multi-nozzle printing equipment, and strengthens the data encryption specifications for personalized customized products in the medical field.
