Key technical requirements

Permanent magnet direct drive motor must meet the following requirements: IP54 protection level, 93% rated efficiency, 40mT surface magnetic leakage limit. Rare earth permanent magnet materials are used, and the bearing life is ≥2.5 million kilometers.

Bogies are divided into Class I (rigid axle holding, ≤80km/h) and Class II (elastic axle holding, ≤120km/h), and must be equipped with ground return devices.


Safety and performance indicators

  • Emergency braking deceleration ≥1.2m/s²
  • Slope start is still possible when 1/2 power is lost under AW3 working conditions
  • Noise control: passenger compartment ≤69dB(A) in static state

Implementation suggestions

  1. Preferably use SiC power devices to improve converter efficiency
  2. The motor cooling system needs to match the line ambient temperature (-25℃~45℃)
  3. The TCMS system should realize real-time monitoring of the motor status
