Analysis of the core content of the standard

1. Scope of application and basic requirements

This standard applies to all types of newly built, expanded and rebuilt water supply and drainage systems, including:

  • water purification plants, wastewater treatment plants buildings and facilities
  • Lightning protection for pumping stations and pipe network systems
  • Supporting power supply and distribution, and automation control systems

2. Key technical points of protection

High voltage system protection

Must comply with the requirements of GB/T50064-2014, and the arrester selection should meet the following requirements:

  1. Metal oxide arresters are used in the distribution system
  2. Rotating motor protection needs to consider steep wave impact

3. Protection requirements for special places

Biogas system

  • When the tank wall thickness is ≥4mm, the lightning arrester can be omitted
  • Flange jumper resistance ≤ 0.03Ω
  • Must use explosion-proof SPD

Automation instrument protection

Equipment such as electromagnetic flowmeters must take the following measures

  1. Double-end grounding of the metal casing
  2. Install Class D1 SPD on the signal line
  3. Use photoelectric isolator (withstand voltage ≥ 10kV)
