Introduction
Analysis of the core content of the standard
This standard is equivalent to the international standard IEC62863:2017 and is applicable to household reciprocating electric hair clippers and hair trimmers with a rated voltage of ≤250V. The test methods for five types of products are mainly standardized:
- Mains power connection type
- Battery-powered type
- Rechargeable type (including plug-and-play type)

Technology evolution and test points
1. Hair sample standardization
For the first time, the parameter requirements of hair samples for testing were clarified:
- Diameter 70-110μm simulated hair
- Tilt angle 45°-65°
- 20mm length + 5cm blank area
2. New product testing methods
New additions for plug-and-play products:
- Mechanical connection reliability test (600 plug-in and unplug cycles)
- Electrical connection stability verification
Implementation recommendations
Corporate response strategies
- Establish a hair sample quality control system (it is recommended to refer to Appendix A Supplier)
- Battery-powered products require special attention to the DC power supply accuracy of the energy consumption test
- The cumulative working time must be clearly scheduled before the durability test
Laboratory precautions
- The test environment temperature is strictly controlled at 23±2℃
- The voltage fluctuation must be <±1%
- Lubricate the cutter head every 12 hours
