Key technical requirements
The standard stipulates that metadata must include five major categories of content: identification information, spatial reference information, production information, quality information and distribution information. Among them:
- Coordinate system parameters must be accurate to 1/298.257222101 flattening
- The time format must be YYYYMMDD eight-bit code
- Valueless data must be clearly marked as "None" instead of leaving it blank
Implementation Suggestions
Take DOM production as an example:
- The satellite sensor type needs to be recorded (such as WorldView-2)
- The ground resolution is accurate to 0.5 meters
- The version of the orthorectification software needs to be indicated (such as Pixel Factory 4.0)
Pay special attention to the fact that the edge quality evaluation must include the four-direction edge status record.

- Strengthened spatial reference system description (added 2000 coordinate system)
