Standard Background and Significance

As my country's first national standard for marine disaster prevention and mitigation terminology, this standard has established a full-chain terminology system covering eight types of disasters, including storm surges and tsunamis, filling the gap in marine disaster management standardization. Its release marks an important milestone in the transformation of my country's marine disaster management from experience-based to standardized and scientific.
