Introduction
Analysis of the core content of the standard
GB/T40310.2-2021, as a key part of the rolling spline pair technology system, focuses on standardizing the load calculation and life assessment methods of AⅠ type, AⅡ type and R type rolling spline pairs. The standard innovatively introduces four prerequisites: elastic deformation assumption, hardness requirements (>58HRC), material limitations (bearing steel/alloy steel) and lubrication requirements.

Key Technical Parameters Description
Adjustment coefficient specification: The standard clearly stipulates that bm=1.3 and λ=0.9 are the maximum values, allowing manufacturers to use smaller values according to actual conditions to leave a safety margin for the design.
Contact stress classification: The maximum contact stress is divided into 9 levels (2420-4600MPa) according to the rg/DW ratio, see standard Table 1 for details.
Life calculation model
The basic rated life L10 is calculated using the cubic relationship:
- Load life: L10=(C/P)3×50km
- Torque life: L10=(CT/T)3×50km
Implementation suggestions
- When selecting, the corresponding structure should be selected according to the load type (AⅠ/AⅡ type is suitable for combined load, R type is suitable for pure radial load)
- The matching relationship between fc coefficient and rg/DW must be verified under dynamic working conditions
- Regularly check the raceway hardness to ensure continuous> 58HRC
- The lubrication system design must meet the requirements of Chapter 1 of the standard
