Introduction
Analysis of the core content of the standard
This standard is equivalent to the ISO108651:2012 international standard, which specifies the technical requirements for the rear-facing wheelchair occupant system (RF-WPS), and is applicable to barrier-free passenger vehicles for passengers weighing more than 22kg.

Performance test requirements
Wheelchair limit test
Use a surrogate wheelchair (SWC) to load a 75kg dummy for dynamic test, requirements:
- Lateral tilt angle ≤10°
- Displacement in all directions ≤50mm
- Rotation deviation ≤15°

Implementation suggestions
Special attention should be paid during the design phase:
- FEB should be covered with impact-absorbing material in accordance with FMVSS201/ECE R21 requirements
- The rounding radius of all components should be ≥2mm to eliminate the risk of sharp edges
- The stop request button area should be set within the horizontal range of 600-900mm
Key points for test verification:
- Both manual wheelchairs and mobility scooters need to be tested
- The static load test duration is not less than 1.5 seconds
- The friction coefficient test is carried out in accordance with ISO717613
