Material performance requirements
The standard stipulates that polyethylene compounding materials must meet the following requirements:
- Density range 956kg/m³~968kg/m³
- Melt mass flow rate (MFR) 190℃/5kg is 0.15g/10min~1.0g/10min
- Carbon black content 2.0%~2.5% (mass fraction)
- Oxidation induction temperature>220℃ (10℃/min heating rate)

Physical and mechanical properties test
Key test items include:
- 80℃/200h hydrostatic test (ring stress 5.17MPa)
- Short-term pressure test (ring stress 22.07MPa at 23℃ for 5s)

Note when applying:
- Nuclear safety-grade pipelines should be verified for system suitability separately
- Storage of electric fusion pipe fittings should avoid resistance drift
- The cutting angle θ of welded elbows should be ≤11.25°
- Fusion process assessment is required before installation
