Introduction

Standard Framework and Technology Evolution

GB/T41229-2021 is an important standard in my country's cotton processing field. It was proposed by the All-China Federation of Supply and Marketing Cooperatives and is under the jurisdiction of the National Technical Committee for Cotton Processing Standardization. This standard was formulated under the framework of GB/T1.1-2020, marking a new stage in the standardization of cotton processing equipment in my country.

Key Technical Requirements

Equipment Performance Indicators

The standard stipulates that the no-load noise of the cotton collector is ≤85dB(A), the radial runout of the dust cage is ≤3mm, and the resistance coefficient is ≤3. In particular, it is required that the lint is evenly distributed on the dust cage mesh surface, and the lint after treatment shall not be damaged in shape.

Safety protection design

According to the requirements of GB18399, all exposed moving parts must be equipped with protective devices. The standard also stipulates the setting of observation windows and inspection doors to ensure operational safety.


Essence of test methods

The standard uses wind speed and pressure meter/Pitot tube to measure the resistance coefficient and air leakage rate, and the test point is located at a distance of 1-4 times the diameter of the pipe. The noise measurement adopts the four-point method (1.5m from front to back and left to right), and the maximum value is taken. The processing capacity per unit hour is converted by weighing 5 bales of cotton, and the power consumption measurement requires an electric meter with an accuracy of ≥2.0.


Implementation suggestions

  1. Model selection: Match the dust cage diameter according to the production capacity requirements. The 1600mm model is suitable for 4000kg/h processing volume scenarios
  2. Energy efficiency optimization: Regularly check the air duct sealing and control the air leakage rate below 10% to significantly reduce energy consumption
  3. Maintenance points: Check the radial runout of the dust cage every month. If it exceeds 2mm, it needs to be corrected in time
  4. Safety training: Focus on training the use specifications of protective devices and emergency shutdown procedures
