GB/T41303-2022 systematically standardizes the technical system of the absorber of tower solar thermal power stations for the first time, and puts forward differentiated requirements for the two mainstream technical routes: molten salt absorber and water/steam absorber.

Innovative Technical Specifications
The standard innovatively proposes the control requirements for tube screen size deviation (Appendix B), stipulating that the tube screen length deviation must be controlled within the range of ±4mm~±8mm to ensure the optical matching accuracy of large-scale concentrating systems.
Typical application case: After a 50MW solar thermal power station in Qinghai adopted this standard, the first-time qualified rate of absorber tube screen installation increased to 98%, and the annual power generation increased by 7%.
Implementation Suggestions
- New projects should give priority to the use of MS/E series molten salt external heat absorbers, whose 565℃ operating temperature is more compatible with the current heat storage system
- Pre-delivery stiffness test and on-site power test should be carried out strictly in accordance with the requirements of Table 5
- The reflectivity of the absorption coating needs to be tested every 2 years to maintain an absorption rate of ≥95%
