Introduction

Analysis of the authenticity inspection standard for land cover remote sensing products

Standard technical framework

Inspection methodApplicable circumstancesSample requirementsAccuracy index
Direct inspection method Field verification data or high-resolution images Three-level sampling samples ≥380 Overall accuracy, type accuracy, uncertainty
Indirect inspection method Refer to verified products of the same resolution Not lower than the accuracy of the product to be inspected Parameter analysis based on existing verification

Note: The three-pixel rule sampling needs to match the accurate spectral characteristics of the ground objects. For details, see Chapter 5.2.3 Sampling Design Requirements

Category Accuracy Improvement Plan

Wetland Classification Verification Case: A 5×5km group sample was used for verification in the alpine meadow ecotone (see C.3 Verification Report Example for details)
  • Sentinel-2 images were used to assist spot7 image interpretation
  • The error of hybrid pixel deep learning modeling was reduced by 12.7%
  • The producer accuracy reached 87.23±4.15%

Implementation Points

Temporal Consistency Specification

The reference object collection should be within ±15 remote sensing revisit cycles within the product coverage period. The rainforest area should be moderately relaxed to 30 cycles but a special sampling formula must be submitted.

Geographic matching principle

GF-7 satellite data should be aligned with Landsta-8 images using a strict platform coordinate system interoperability conversion mode:

1. DEM grid is unified to WSG84 coordinates
2. Bilinear spectral normalization is implemented
3. Edge matching error ≤ image GSD pixel value

Verification report framework
