Introduction

1. Background and purpose of the standard

With the wide application of flexible plastic materials in packaging, construction and industry, their fire safety issues have attracted much attention. The GB/T41934-2022/ISO12992:2017 standard aims to determine the vertical flame spread performance of plastic films and sheets through a small flame source, providing a reference for the selection of materials for equipment and electrical components.

3. Technical implementation and application cases

  2. Environmental control: The test should be carried out under constant temperature and humidity conditions to avoid external factors interfering with the test results.
  3. Data Recording: Record the t1 and t2 values of each test in detail and calculate the average flame spread rate to ensure data reliability.
