Introduction
Interpretation of the core content of the standard
Scope of application and test objects
This standard applies to household electric vacuum cleaners and their accessories, and explicitly excludes industrial equipment. The test covers two surface types:
| Test surface | Standard requirements | Sound power level deviation |
|---|---|---|
| Standard test carpet | Wilton woven, 7.5mm pile height | σг=0.3dB, σR=0.8dB |
| Standard hard floor | Sound absorption coefficient <0.1, surface density ≥50kg/m² | σг=0.2dB, σR=0.6dB |
Key technical requirements
Measurement methods and instruments
- Direct method: Adopt GB/T6881.2/3 and ISO3744, and pay attention to the influence of pure sound components on the results
- Instrument configuration: It is recommended to use a windshield, and the A-weighted sound pressure level measurement time is ≥30 seconds
Test implementation points
Instrument pretreatment requirements
- A new machine needs to be run-in for 2 hours without load (battery products need 3 charge and discharge cycles)
- Dust collector status control: The mass deviation of the reusable dust collector is ≤1% or 2g
- Stable operation is required for 10 minutes before testing (battery products need 2 minutes)
Test positioning specifications
The positioning of the cleaning head must meet the following requirements:
- Carpet test: roller brush extension height 2+20mm
- Hard floor test: nozzle is in full contact with the ground
- Hose hanging height (80±5)cm, angle 45°±5°
Standard evolution and implementation suggestions
Major technical changes
| 2008 version | New content in the 2020 version |
|---|---|
| Only carpet test is specified | Hard floor test method and corresponding deviation requirements are added |
| Measurement uncertainty is not specified | New standard deviation values are added (see Tables 101-104) |
Implementation suggestions
- Multi-function products need to be tested separately for carpet and hard floor
- Note the test differences between powered nozzles and ordinary nozzles
- The report needs to clearly mark the corresponding data of the test surface type
