《GB/T 42241-2022纳米技术 [60]/[70]富勒烯纯度的测定 高效液相色谱法》由TC279(全国纳米技术标准化技术委员会)归口,主管部门为中国科学院。

Introduction

1. Background and significance of standard formulation

Fullerene is a closed cage molecule composed of carbon atoms with a unique electronic conjugated structure and excellent optical, electrical and magnetic properties. It has important application value in biomedicine, new materials and new energy. However, the application performance and market value of fullerene are highly dependent on its purity.

In order to meet the needs of scientific research institutions, production enterprises and third-party testing institutions for high-purity fullerene testing methods, GB/T42241-2022 standard came into being. This standard unifies and standardizes the determination method of fullerene purity [60] 70], filling the gap in related fields in China.

2. Definition of Standard Terms

Term Definition Source
[60]Fullerene A molecule composed of 60 carbon atoms, with 12 five-membered rings and several six-membered rings. GB/T30544.3-2015, 3.1
[70]Fullerene A molecule composed of 70 carbon atoms, with 12 five-membered rings and several six-membered rings. GB/T30544.3-2015, 3.1

Note: The definitions of terms in the table are based on the standard appendix and literature references, ensuring the authority and accuracy of the terms.

3. Test methods and procedures

3.1 Instrument requirements

  • High performance liquid chromatograph: equipped with UV detector or diode array detector.
  • Analytical balance: accuracy 0.01mg.
  • Ultrasonic cleaner: power not less than 300W.

3.2 Liquid Chromatography Conditions

Parameter Name Requirements Remarks
Chromatographic column 5μm spherical porous silica gel column, bonded with pyrenylpropyl. Can replace other chromatographic columns with the same performance.
Mobile phase Toluene Must ensure that the purity meets the requirements.
Flow rate 1.0mL/min It is recommended to keep it constant.

4. Implementation Suggestions

To ensure the accuracy and repeatability of the test results, it is recommended to:

  • Strictly control the sample pretreatment conditions, especially the ultrasonic time and the filter membrane selection.
  • Regularly calibrate the instruments and equipment, especially the baseline stability and drift rate of the HPLC.
  • For complex samples, it is recommended to increase the number of parallel sample tests and analyze the impact of impurity peaks.
