1. Background of standard formulation and analysis of technological evolution

OLED (Organic Light Emitting Diode) display technology has become an important choice in the high-end TV market due to its excellent color performance, contrast and response speed. The formulation of GB/T42243-2022 "General Technical Specifications for Organic Light Emitting Diode (OLED) TVs" aims to unify the design, production and inspection standards of OLED TV products and promote the healthy development of the industry. The standard was proposed by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology of the People's Republic of China and is managed by the National Technical Committee for Standardization of Audio, Video and Multimedia Systems and Equipment.
