1. Background of Standard Formulation and Analysis of Technology Evolution

With the increasingly serious environmental pollution problem, photocatalytic technology has attracted widespread attention as an efficient and environmentally friendly means of air purification. This standard is equivalent to ISO 221973:2019, and is localized and modified in combination with China's actual situation. It is applicable to the air purification performance test of plates, filter materials and other composite materials containing photocatalysts.

Instrument requirements:It is necessary to equip with gas chromatograph, ultraviolet lamp, photocatalytic reactor and other equipment to ensure compliance with ISO 48923 and ISO 10677 requirements.

Test steps:Includes sample pretreatment (immersion and UV irradiation), adsorption under dark conditions, and calculation of toluene removal rate under light conditions. Special attention should be paid to the control of toluene concentration within the range of (1.0±0.05)μL/L, and the gas flow rate is 0.5 L/min.

Photocatalytic materials have broad application prospects in the field of air purification, but their performance is affected by many factors. Future standard revisions should consider:
