Introduction

1. Background of standard formulation and analysis of technological evolution

The national standard GB/T 42350-2023 for fly ash ceramic tiles was issued against the backdrop of the country's increasing emphasis on environmentally friendly materials and resource recycling. With the increasing demand for green building materials in the construction industry, fly ash, as an industrial waste, is widely used in ceramic manufacturing. The formulation of this standard not only promotes the resource utilization of waste, but also improves the product quality and environmental performance of ceramic tiles.

3. Interpretation of Technical Requirements and Implementation Suggestions

3.1 Dimensions and Surface Quality
The dimensions of fly ash ceramic tiles must comply with GB/T 4100-2015 regulations to ensure the uniformity of the product and ease of installation. In terms of surface quality, at least 95% of the main areas of the brick body should be free of obvious defects, which requires manufacturers to strictly control process parameters during the molding and firing process.

3.2 Mechanical properties
Destructive strength and rupture modulus are important indicators for measuring the mechanical properties of ceramic tiles. The standard stipulates that the destructive strength must meet the requirements of Table 1, and the average rupture modulus is not less than 35 MPa. These indicators ensure the durability and safety of the product in practical applications.
