Scope

This standard specifies the sample, test solution, test equipment, test conditions and procedures, test result evaluation and test report of stainless steel 5% sulfuric acid corrosion test method. This standard is applicable to the determination of the corrosion weight loss of molybdenum-containing austenitic stainless steel in 5% sulfuric acid solution to test the uniform corrosion resistance of stainless steel.
