1. Standard background and technological evolution

With the rapid development of the rare earth industry, the problem of associated radioactivity has become increasingly prominent. The GB/T 43358-2023 standard fills the gap in the field of radioactivity detection of rare earth ores and products, using the thick source method combined with low-background α and β measuring instruments to ensure the accuracy and comparability of the test results.
