Introduction

Interpretation of the core content of the standard

GB/T 43564-2023, as a supporting standard for GB 36246-2018, puts forward comprehensive technical requirements for the design, construction and acceptance of synthetic surface track and field venues for primary and secondary schools. For the first time, the standard clearly distinguishes the differentiated indicators between cast-in-place and prefabricated surfaces, and adds new requirements for the limit of harmful substances such as short-chain chlorinated paraffins.

Key construction controls

The standard requires that process documents and sample block test reports must be provided before construction. Key monitoring points:

  • Construction in ambient temperature ≥5℃ and no rain or snow
  • Asphalt foundation requires a 28-day curing period
  • Thickness detection uses ultrasonic thickness gauge

Control of hazardous substances

Two new chemical substance restrictions:

  • Short-chain chlorinated paraffin (C10-C13)≤0.1g/kg
  • MOCA≤0.5g/kg

Standard Evolution Analysis

Compared with GB 36246-2018, this standard mainly strengthens:

  1. Refine the special indicators of track and field venues (such as the slope of the runway ≤0.1%)
  2. Add technical requirements for semi-prefabricated composite surface layers
  3. Specify that the performance retention rate after aging test is ≥80%
