1. Background and significance of standard formulation

With the transformation of global energy structure and the improvement of environmental protection requirements, the application of proton exchange membrane fuel cell (PEMFC) technology in the automotive field is becoming more and more extensive. As the core fuel of PEMFC, the purity and impurity content of hydrogen directly affect the performance, life and safety of fuel cells. Therefore, it is particularly important to formulate unified technical standards to regulate the determination methods of helium, oxygen, nitrogen and hydrocarbon components in hydrogen.
