GB/T 44543-2024 "Epoxy Adhesives for Precast Concrete Segment Assembly" was released in 2024 to standardize the production, inspection and use of epoxy adhesives in projects such as bridges, wind power and underground structures. The standard combines the latest technological achievements at home and abroad and specifies material properties and construction requirements in detail.

3. Analysis of standard formulation background and technological evolution

Background:With the popularization of precast concrete segment assembly technology, epoxy adhesives are increasingly used in bridges and underground projects. The introduction of this standard solves the shortcomings of existing materials in durability and construction performance, filling the domestic gap.

Technology evolution:From the initial common construction adhesive to the special epoxy system, the following key improvements have been made:

  1. Curing system optimization: from single component to multi-component
  2. Enhanced environmental protection requirements: introduction of low VOC and non-toxic formula
  3. Enhanced durability: new test methods such as moisture resistance and salt spray resistance

4. Implementation suggestions

Material selection:Environmentally friendly epoxy adhesives that meet the requirements of GB 30982 and GB 33372 should be used first to ensure their construction performance under different climatic conditions.

Construction condition control:Construction temperature and humidity should be strictly controlled. It is recommended to use temperature control equipment to monitor environmental parameters. For complex projects, the shrinkage test method in Appendix D can be referred to for preliminary evaluation.

Quality Control: Strengthen the quality inspection of incoming materials, especially the key indicators of epoxy resin system such as glass transition temperature and steel-to-concrete positive tensile bond strength (Appendix A). It is recommended to use a third-party testing agency to conduct type inspection.
