Introduction
Analysis of the core content of the standard
GB/T 44783-2024 is my country's first systematic ground-based evaluation standard for the optical imaging quality of large-aperture space astronomical telescopes. It is suitable for performance testing of space telescopes with a clear aperture greater than 1m in the visible to near-infrared band (0.38μm~2.5μm).
Comparison of key technical indicators
| Evaluation dimensions | Optical system requirements | Complete system requirements |
|---|---|---|
| Point spread function energy concentration | 5×5 pixel area ≥80% | 5×5 pixel area ≥80% |
| Angular resolution | 0.1"~3"(2m aperture can reach 0.15") | 0.1"~3"(2m aperture can reach 0.15") |
| Dynamic performance | - | Dynamic angular resolution ≤ 1.2 times of static |
Key parameters of test environment
The standard stipulates that the laboratory environment must meet the following requirements
- Temperature control: 20±2℃
- Humidity range: 40%~60%RH
- Cleanliness: better than ISO8 level
- Vibration requirement: <0.1μm amplitude
- Vacuum condition: <10-3Pa (if necessary)
Composition of typical test system
Point spread function test system includes:
- Surface light source: spectral coverage 0.38~2.5μm, non-uniformity <2%
- Collimator: focal length> 2 times telescope focal length, wave aberration <λ/20(RMS)
- Star point plate: diameter calculation formula dmax=0.61λfc/D
- Microscopic imaging system: need to distinguish the first and second diffraction rings
Implementation suggestions
Note that it is recommended to pay attention to the test:
- The test needs to be conducted under ±1g gravity state or gravity unloading state
- The point spread function sampling area should cover more than 84% of the energy
- The distortion test needs to be repeated 3 times to take the average value
- The dynamic test needs to be combined with the star simulator to complete the closed-loop verification
