Introduction
Analysis of the core content of the standard
| Assessment module | Key indicators | Risk category threshold |
|---|---|---|
| Equipment body | Drive chain elongation ≤3%, step gap ≤6mm, additional brake configuration | Class I (1A-3B) requires immediate rectification |
| Building related | Handrail spacing ≥160mm, entrance and exit clear area ≥2.5m | Class II (1E-4B) recommended for review |
Risk Assessment Matrix
According to clause 7.1.3 of the standard, the risk level is determined by the combination of injury severity (level 1-4) and occurrence probability (AF level):
- 1B risk: risk of death + very likely to occur → protective measures must be taken
- 3D risk: minor damage + very rare occurrence → technical and economic analysis required
Implementation points
- Evaluation agency qualifications: more than 2 professionals with special equipment inspection/manufacturing experience are required (clause 4.2)
- Key scrapping criteria: step tooth top surface width <2.5mm, apron plate gap >4mm, replacement is required (Appendix A)
- New technology response: For variable frequency drive systems, special inspection of the DC bus capacitor status is required (Table A.15)
Comparison of standard evolution
| Version | New requirements | Technology improvement |
|---|---|---|
| 2024 version | Add multiple linkage protection (16.10), electrostatic protection (16.14) | Risk quantification scoring system (Formula 1) |
| 2011 version | Basic safety requirements | Qualitative evaluation is the main method |
