1. Background and significance of standard formulation

As an important carrier of clean energy, the safety of storage and transportation of liquid hydrogen is of vital importance. The formulation of GB/T 45161-2024 "Technical Specifications for Safety Valves for Liquid Hydrogen Containers" aims to ensure that liquid hydrogen containers can operate safely under extreme temperature and pressure conditions. This standard fills the gap in safety valve technology in the domestic liquid hydrogen field and provides important technical support for the healthy development of the hydrogen energy industry.
