Introduction
Interpretation of the core content of the standard
This standard establishes for the first time an energy consumption classification system for slag cement vertical mills, divides the energy efficiency of equipment into three levels (level 1 being the highest), and sets differentiated index values for different grinding disc diameters (3.0-8.0m). The key technological breakthroughs are reflected in:

Key technical requirements
The standard clearly requires that the vertical mill must meet the following requirements:
- Feed particle size ≤10mm, moisture content ≤18%
- Surface area of finished product ≥4200cm²/g (Blaine method)
- The quality of slag powder is not less than GB/T 18046 S95
- Energy consumption calculation includes power consumption of the whole system including main motor and powder separator
Innovation of test method
Appendix A specifies the test specifications in detail:
- Testing is required under a standard environment of 20℃±5℃
- Power measurement adopts 10-minute interval sampling method
- Dry basis processing capacity calculation formula: Q=m×(1-ω)
Measurement case of a Φ4.2m vertical mill
When processing 80t/h of wet slag (water content 15%) and the measured average power is 2100kW:
Dry basis processing capacity = 80×(1-0.15) = 68t/h
Energy consumption index = 2100/68 = 30.9kW·h/t (reaching level 3 standard)
Implementation suggestions
Enterprises should focus on:
- Newly purchased equipment should give priority to energy efficiency products of level 2 or above
- For the transformation of existing equipment, energy efficiency diagnosis can be carried out by referring to standard test methods
- Establish a Bond grindability index detection system to ensure that the input materials meet the standards
