Scope

This standard specifies the technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules and requirements for signs, packaging, transportation and storage of electrostatic image test plates A3 and A4. This standard applies to xerographic copying test versions A3 and A4 (hereinafter referred to as test versions) for checking the quality of copies of xerographic copiers and their office equipment using electrostatic methods, such as printing machines, printers, facsimile machines, etc.
