《GB/T 4618.2-2008塑料　环氧树脂氯含量的测定　第2部分：易皂化氯》由TC15（全国塑料标准化技术委员会）归口，TC15SC11（全国塑料标准化技术委员会热固性塑料分会）执行，主管部门为中国石油和化学工业联合会。
GB/T 4618《塑料　环氧树脂氯含量的测定》共分为三个部分，本部分为GB/T 4618的第2部分，等同采用ISO 21627-2：2002《塑料――环氧树脂――氯含量的测定――第2部分：易皂化氯》（英文版）。
本部分代替GB/T 4618-1984《环氧树脂和有关材料易皂化氯的测定》。
GB/T 4618的本部分规定了环氧树脂中易皂化氯的测定方法。
本部分与GB/T 4618-1984相比主要变化如下：
―――更改了标准名称、增加了前言；
―――增加了规范性引用文件；
―――增加了术语和定义；
―――氢氧化钠分为用于环氧树脂测试的2-丁氧基乙醇溶液和用于缩水甘油酯测试的甲醇溶液；
―――溶液浓度单位由N改成mol/L；
―――基准试剂氯化钠干燥温度由120℃改成500℃~600℃。

This part of GB/T 4618 specifies the method for the determination of saponifiable chlorine in epoxy resin. The saponifiable chlorine content is the amount of readily saponifiable chlorine in a given amount of epoxy resin. The obtained value represents the readily saponifiable chlorine concentration of the chlorohydrin group in the compound.
