本标准规定了纸和纸板经规定时间浸水后的抗张强度的测定法，并以此衡量纸或纸板的湿强度。
本标准适用于各种有湿强度要求的纸和纸板。

Scope

This standard specifies the test method for the tensile strength of paper and paperboard after soaking in water for a specified time, and measures the wet strength of paper or paperboard by this method. This standard applies to all kinds of paper and paperboard with wet strength requirements.
