Scope

This part of GB/T 4698 specifies the methods for determining the amount of niobium in titanium alloys. This part is applicable to the determination of niobium content in titanium alloys. Method one applies to a range of 0.05% - 0.50%; method two applies to a range of 0.02% - 0.30%. Method one is an arbitration analysis method.

Method one is the chlorosulfite iodide spectrophotometric method (arbitration analysis method).
