Scope

This standard specifies the relevant terms, product classification, technical requirements, measurement methods, inspection rules, marks, packaging, storage and transportation of thread gauges for oil drilling tool joints (hereinafter referred to as gauges). This standard applies to the design, manufacture, inspection and maintenance of oil drilling tool joint thread gauges.
