《GB/T 4796-2008电工电子产品环境条件分类第1部分：环境参数及其严酷程度》由TC8（全国电工电子产品环境条件与环境试验标准化技术委员会）归口，主管部门为中国电器工业协会。
本标准等同采用IEC 60721-1：2002，是对GB/T 4796-2001的修订。本标准规定了电工电子产品在运输、贮存、安装和使用过程中所遇到的环境条件参数及其严酷程度。本标准代替ＧＢ／Ｔ４７９６―２００１。本标准等同采用国际标准ＩＥＣ６０７２１-１：２００２《环境条件分类　第１部分：环境参数及其严酷程度》
（英文版）。主要做了以下编辑性修改：
―――删除了国际标准的前言和引言；
―――增加了国家标准前言；
―――引用了采用国际标准的国家标准。

Scope

This standard lists the parameters and severity of environmental conditions encountered by electrical and electronic products during transportation, storage, installation and use.
