Introduction

Background of Standard Revision and Technological Evolution

Comparison Dimensions 1985 Edition 2018 Edition Change Rate
Total Number of Terms 263 326 +23.9%
Raw Material Terms 22 32 +45.5%
Process Terms 46 75 +63.0%

This revision focuses on three major technological developments: 1) Adding modern processes such as 3D printing; 2) Improving the glaze performance test system; 3) Introducing new product classifications such as antibacterial ceramics.

Technical analysis of core terms

1. Raw material system

porcelain stone (Article 3.14): It is clarified that the mineral composition is mainly sericite + quartz, which is different from ordinary stone raw materials. Typical application case: It can account for 60-70% of the body material of Jingdezhen blue-and-white porcelain.

2. Key processes

Body-glaze adaptability (Article 2.8): Through the expansion coefficient matching test, it is required that αglaze=(0.9-1.1)αbody. Solutions to common problems: Adding quartz can reduce the glaze expansion coefficient.

3. Quality inspection

Lead and cadmium dissolution (Article 6.4): Soak in 4% acetic acid solution for 24 hours and measure by atomic absorption method. International comparison: Chinese standards are 20% stricter than FDA standards.

Implementation suggestions

Enterprise standardization construction: It is recommended to establish a terminology reference database, such as associating glaze formula (Article 2.18) with chemical analysis data to achieve digital management of formulas.

Quality control points: Focus on the average linear thermal expansion coefficient test of Article 6.62. It is recommended to use a quartz dilatometer. The measurement error should be ≤0.1×10-6/℃.
