GB/T 5031-2008 in English

《GB/T 5031-2008塔式起重机》由TC227（全国起重机械标准化技术委员会）归口，TC227SC1（全国起重机械标准化技术委员会塔式起重机分会）执行，主管部门为中国机械工业联合会。
本标准规定了塔式起重机的术语、分类与标识、技术要求、试验方法、检验规则、信息标识、包装、运输和贮存、安装及爬升、使用检查。
本标准适用于GB/T　6974.3所定义的塔式起重机。
本标准不适用于配备有塔式起重装置的流动式起重机。 本标准与GB/T 9462-1999等5个标准相比主要变化如下：
――重新规定了塔式起重机的型号标识原则，取消了JG/T 5037-1993中的参数系列；
――增加了根据钢材脆性破坏评价结果选择钢材质量组别的要求；
――增加了对焊接的环境要求和无损探伤要求；
――增加了部分机构要求；
――增加了部分装置的种类和要求；
――增加了制造商应提供的技术资料要求；
――增加了部分信息标识要求；
――增加了安装及爬升的要求；
――对塔机的检查要求进行了详细描述。

Scope

This standard specifies the terminology, classification and identification, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, information identification, packaging, transportation and storage, installation and climbing, and use inspection of tower cranes (hereinafter referred to as tower cranes). This standard applies to tower cranes defined in GB/T 6974.3. This standard does not apply to mobile cranes equipped with tower lifting gear.
