《GB/T 5196-2008绳索 鉴别用的颜色标记》由TC302（全国家用纺织品标准化技术委员会）归口，TC302SC2（全国家用纺织品标准化技术委员会线带分会）执行，主管部门为中国纺织工业联合会。
本标准是对用作鉴别绳索组成材料的颜色标记所作的统一规定。
本标准适用于给定最小直径４ｍｍ 以上的马尼拉麻和西沙尔麻绳索和聚酰胺（锦纶）、聚酯（涤纶）、聚乙烯（乙纶）、聚丙烯（丙纶）化纤绳索。
Scope
This standard is a uniform specification for the color marking used to identify the constituent materials of ropes. This standard applies to abaca and sisal ropes and polyamide (nylon), polyester (polyester), polyethylene (ethylene), polypropylene (polypropylene) chemical fiber ropes with a given minimum diameter of 4 mm or more.
