《GB/T 5224-2003预应力混凝土用钢绞线》由TC183（全国钢标准化技术委员会）归口，TC183SC3（全国钢标准化技术委员会盘条及钢丝分会）执行，主管部门为中国钢铁工业协会。
本标准规定了预应力混凝土用钢绞线的分类、尺寸、外形、质量及允许偏差、技术要求、试验方法、检验规则、包装、标志和质量证明书等。
本标准适用于由冷拉光圆钢丝及刻痕钢丝捻制的用于预应力混凝土结构的钢绞线(以下简称钢绞线)。

This standard specifies the type, dimension, shape, quality and tolerance, specification, testing method, test rules, packaging, marking and certification of quality of steel strand for pre-stressed concrete.
This standard is applicable to the cold-drawn round wire and the strand wire for pre-stressed concrete spun by the indented wire (hereafter referred to as strand wire).
